We write motorcycle insurance in 48 states. At this time, we’re unable to offer insurance policies in Alaska, Hawaii, and Washington, D.C. However, if you live in the covered states, you’re also covered when traveling to those areas.

No matter what state you live in, you are required to carry a basic insurance policy. Beyond that, most states have specific requirements. Harley-Davidson Insurance Services offers several discounts to its policyholders. If you own more than one cycle, own a home, have taken a motorcycle safety course (such as our Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy), or are a H.O.G.® member, you might be eligible for a discount. Roadside Assistance is an available add-on coverage for all policyholders, providing emergency service to your motorcycle due to battery failure, flat tire, lock-out, or mechanical or electrical breakdown. You’ll also be covered for immediate need of fuel, oil, fluid, or water, along with towing services to the nearest qualified service facility if required. Learn more.
